2/11/2012: Window World to unveil third Orange County Chopper on hit television show American Chopper

NORTH WILKESBORO, N.C.: Window World Inc.®, the nation's largest replacement window and home remodeling company, and Window World Cares™, its charitable foundation, will be featured on an upcoming episode of the hit reality television show American Chopper. Orange County Choppers, the starring company of the show, built the custom bike for Window World to support the Veterans Airlift Command (VAC). The episode will premiere Monday, Feb. 27 at 9 p.m. EST on Discovery Channel.

The Veterans Airlift Command provides free private air transportation to wounded warriors, veterans and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes, through a national network of volunteer aircraft owners and pilots. To date, Window World Cares has supported 22 missions for the VAC totaling 100 hours of flight time. These flights have transported 33 soldiers and 71 total passengers.

"The newest Window World bike created by Orange County Choppers honors the deserving veterans that have given our country so much," said Tammy Whitworth, chairman and CEO of Window World and co-founder of Window World Cares. "We have been blessed to partner with such a great organization and look forward to growing together in the future."

Window World has partnered with Orange County Choppers for the third time to build the VAC Bike. The first bike, the Window World Chopper, was unveiled in May 2010 and was featured on American Chopper that same year. The second, the St. Jude Dream Bike, was built to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. It was unveiled in December 2010 and was highlighted on an episode of American Chopper in 2011.

The Window World episode of American Chopper will re-air on Monday, Feb. 27 at 11 p.m. EST and Sunday, March 3 at 11 a.m. EST.

1/19/2012: Window World to sponsor team in Rolex 24 at Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.: Window World, Inc.®, America's largest replacement window and home remodeling company, will be the primary sponsor of the No. 36 car to be driven by the Yellow Dragon Motorsports team in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, a 24-hour race taking place on January 28 and 29. The team is made up of John Andretti, Jarett Andretti, Taylor Hacquard and Anders Krohn. This year's Rolex 24 celebrates the 50th anniversary of the endurance racing event.

This marks John Andretti's fourth time at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. He won the event during his rookie appearance in 1989 as one of the drivers of the Miller High Life/BF Goodrich Porsche 962.

"The first time I showed up at the 24-hour Daytona, we won," said John Andretti. "I thought, 'That wasn't hard!' This will only be my fourth time back but I've gained a lot of experience and learned how prestigious the race is."

Jarett Andretti, son of John Andretti, will also be racing on the same team as his father. This will be Jarett's first time competing in the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

"It's an honor to get to drive with Yellow Dragon Motorsports alongside my father and the other two drivers," said Jarett Andretti. "My dad won his first attempt and I would love to say the same. Doing it with my dad would make it even better."

This is the first year that Window World, Inc. has sponsored a car in the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The company has previously sponsored John Andretti in numerous other races, including the Indianapolis 500 and the Daytona 500.

"The Rolex 24 at Daytona, the Indy 500 and the Daytona 500 are three of the most prestigious races in this industry," said John Andretti. National television coverage of the race will air on the SPEED channel Saturday, January 28 from 2:30-11 p.m. and Sunday, January 29 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Additional coverage for the entire 24-hour race will be streamed online at www.SPEED.com. For guests who will be attending the event, the team will be available to sign autographs at 12:15 p.m. on January 28 as part of the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series autograph session. The No. 36 car is a Mazda RX-8 and was created by MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development. Tickets to the event are available to the public and range from $10 to $55. Please join us for the 3 day Build Brigade on July 8, 9 and 10, 2011. The Opening Ceremony will begin at 8:30am on Friday, July 8th. Window World of the Ozarks is proud to donate the windows and their installation to the building of SGT Marco A. Robledo, Jr. house in Clarksville, AR.
